Rulebook

Real golf.Dirtier scorecard.

Dirty Strokes keeps two truths: the score you shot, and the score that survives the table talk.

How A Round Works

  • Join a tournament round, pick the course nines, then start play.
  • Every player gets 20 tokens for the round.
  • Enter your true score after each hole. DNF counts as double par.
  • Spend tokens to attack, defend, hide information, or set traps.
  • At the end, reveal the round and inspect the dirty nett score.

The Actions

Sabotage

2 TKN

Add +1 to another player's nett score on a hole.

Shield

2 TKN

Block the next Sabotage played against you on that hole.

Hide

3 TKN

Conceal your true score on a hole until reveal.

CCTV

4 TKN

See every action played on that hole.

Reverso

8 TKN

Set a trap: anyone who Sabotages you takes a Reverse Strike.

I Spy

3 TKN

Peek at defensive actions on a hole before you commit.

Purge

4 TKN

Clear defensive cover from a hole.

Swap

6 TKN

Trade your score on a hole with another player's score.

The Social Game

The app handles the math. You handle the manipulation. Bluff, bait, negotiate, accuse, and misdirect, but keep the villainy theatrical. Dirty play affects the app score, never the actual golf.

  • Act broke so people stop shielding, then spend quietly.
  • Hide a good score early so your later bad Hide looks scary.
  • Pretend you have Reverso and watch who suddenly backs off.
  • Threaten Purge before attacking; panic often reveals the defense.

The One Rule

Do not lie about real strokes, touch another player's ball, or make the round miserable. The betrayal should end at the reveal screen.
